Purpose: To bridge the generational and social gap by presenting a traditional German Advent Celebration at Bethel Park. It has long been a goal of the German District leadership to bring our community this type of event.

Bethel Park had 110 people come to celebrate the German Advent. What a wonderful time we had with all those that came. We are already planning this event for next year, make sure you sign up for our monthly newsletter so we can keep you informed.

• Sing-along: Old Advent Songs
• Choir: Kids choir singing German songs
• Musical Specials: Young and Old
• Fellowship: Comfortable setting to meet and greet others
• Discussions: How Advent is celebrated today in Germany
• Video: Christmas Markets in Germany
• Story: Christmas story presented
• Food: Traditional German recipes

Meals: No meals were supplied for this event. Traditional German cookies and cakes were provided.
