All Nations Community Church - Kid's Camp

The summer of 2006 was for the Children’s Ministry at ANCC a great experience, as we brought 100 children and staff to Bethel Park Retreat Center for one week of Kid’s Camp. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the beach, and the friendly staff. The facilities get an A!

Our children, ages 8 – 12 years old, has given us some very positive feedback on the fun times they had, as well as the awesome chapel services, where they heard the Word of God, and experienced the move of the Holy Spirit. Every child should be able to experience Kid’s Camp at least once in their life. We look forward to our next one, and plan on having at least as many kids come.

Our church, All Nations Community Church, located at 18620 S. Kedzie Avenue in Homewood, Illinois, is a large, multi-cultural church ministering to the needs of people in all walks of life, under the leadership of our Senior Pastor, George K. Thomas.

Fire Power Ministries - Fire Power Camp

Thank you for the invitation to write about our Camp.

We have been attending Bethel Park Campground for over 30 years. In that time frame we have see groups come and go. Each year we see new faces and many return to camp every year.

We left Bethel Park for a period of time when our Camp grew to over 300. We returned this past year and had a wonderful camp. Our group is called Fire Power Ministries! We have about 100 to 150 young people and adults that attend. We have a Fire Up Rally for Teens and adults and Rainbow Connection for the little children with sports and activities everyday. At night we have Anointed services and we see many come to the altars to receive Jesus as there personal Lord & Savior!

We as the directors of Fire Power Camp believe that camp plays an important part in the young peoples lives who attend each year. They have made long lasting friendships and relationships that will last a life time. Many young people that have met at camp have married and since returned to Camp as Counselors, Youth Pastors and some even Sr. Pastors. God has made a difference in there lives and they in turn want to make a difference in other young people's lives.

We continue to have Camp each year because we see so many young people that, because of camp, have returned to their home church and stirred up the Spirit of God in their friends and families lives, that if not for the fact that they attended camp they may possibly have turned away for Christ. Instead they have went home renewed, refreshed, and of Fire for the Lord!!
