Greetings:
Since
Bethel Park Ministries is now leasing Bethel Park from the
German District it required that certain adjustments regarding
Family Camp needed to take place. Therefore we thought it
would be a good idea to provide you some information as to
how the ongoing aspects of this upcoming activity will unfold.
Obviously
Family Camp remains a German District event!
However
we ask you to note the following changes:
1.
All activities connected with the Tabernacle (+ Popstand)
will be supervised by District Leadership. That to mean: speaker
selection, service format, offerings, pledges, etc. is a district
matter. The Tabernacle/Popstand income will flow into the
District treasury. In this regard all checks are to be made
payable to the “German District”.
2.
Bethel Park Ministries on the other hand will oversee the
lodging and the dining room/kitchen. All income generated
from these activities will flow into the BPM treasury, and
these checks should be made payable to, “Bethel Park
Ministries”.
As
in years past the same office personnel will receive and process
your reservation request. We do have strong indications that
the ’07 attendance will equal the fantastic ’06
Family Camp turnout. Therefore we strongly recommend you:
phone, fax, or email your room reservation request to our
office and submit your deposit per US mail.

For
those wanting to attend Family Camp but wish to stay elsewhere
– we have made arrangements with “Candlewood Suites”,
a motel in Stevensville, approx. 7 miles from Bethel Park.
They have offered the guests of Bethel Park Ministries discounted
rates; anyone wanting to take advantage of this offer must
reserve their room by contacting our office.
In
any case, if you are thinking about attending Family Camp
’07 – please do not put this matter on the back
burner. If you are planning to attend the entire time –
then a 02.06.07 - 9:00 AM prompt response is a must!! We are
expecting and believing that every day, every room will be
reserved!!
Also,
if you know of anyone thinking about attending Family Camp
but do not have a computer, then please provide them the necessary
phone/fax contact information. Using the postal system for
this purpose will place them at a great disadvantage!!
