Meetings
Under 100
We
are always trying to improve our services and capabilities.
We recently ran across an article which helps us explain why
we have had such an increase in reservations lately.
"Meeting
News", in their December 2004 edition,
reported that meetings under 100 in size are spreading from
the cities and moving into smaller venues. This is consistent
with the feedback we get in our research and the comments
we get from meeting planners looking for that perfect place
to host their next function, like Bethel Park.
The
magazine goes on to give some very enlightening reasons for
this shift in meeting planning:
- Travel
Budgets
- Tightening
Government Regulations
- A
belief that small venues are better for small meetings
Well,
we couldn't agree more. Our price is very difficult to beat
when you compare it against a larger hotels and their inflexible
room rates and then add the meals and meeting rooms. Often
people of shocked we can provide such outstanding services
at such a low price.
One
last point, the magazine goes on to point out that fewer attendees
translates into easier meal planning. Our staff is extremely
flexible with meal planning. We dare say it is one of our
most commented feature from past event attendees.
